About The Estate
Spains Hall is a working farming estate in north-west Essex, managed by the Ruggles-Brise family. Since 2018 we have led one of England's most ambitious programmes of nature recovery, integrating agroforestry, beaver-led natural flood management, habitat creation and biodiversity net gain into a single landscape-scale model. The estate is not open to the general public.
