Job Description

Senior Estate Worker is a new role designed to enhance the level of experience within our existing day to day estate team. This is a practical role requiring a mix of machine and manual work, but also the ability to identify and deliver tasks, prioritising day to day work, bringing extra experience and problem-solving ability to our estate team. The role works closely with the Team Leader to manage workloads, deploy resources, monitor delivery and achieve results. The ideal candidate is practical, confident, self-reliant, IT literate, personable and willing to share their experience to build confidence in colleagues.

Personal Attributes

You are experienced and confident in all aspects of manual and machine use, able to support, guide and oversee others as well as being able to assist in task identification, prioritisation and monitoring. You can pick up new tasks and new ways of working  quickly, and help others where necessary. You aren’t concerned by the unfamiliar and thrive in an environment where you are figuring things out for the first time. You can work independently but also take instruction and contribute to developing work plans, using your experience to make what we do better, more efficient and safer. Ideally you only need to be shown once, but are also happy to ask for help and engage in productive discussions with others more and less experienced than you.
